The 83 principles behind Take Control
Take Control is built from 83 lines I actually live by. Not quotes I collected. Lines I wrote for myself over years of building businesses, making mistakes, and paying attention.
How the book is built
Each of the 83 lines became a short chapter: the line first, then a few hundred words on what it cost me to learn it. The lines fall into 7 parts. Character: who you are when nobody is watching. Action: why starting beats planning. People: choosing who gets your time. Mindset: how you talk to yourself when things break. Time and Money: the two currencies, and how not to waste either. Faith: what holds when logic runs out. Wisdom: what is left after all of it.
One of them
Principle 52: "Plant trees you know you won't sit under their shade." Do the work that pays someone else. Build things that outlast your need for credit. Most people only plant what they will harvest. That is why most people build small things.
Why 500 copies are traveling
The book exists because these lines changed how I operate, and I wanted them somewhere a stranger could find them. That is also why 500 copies are traveling right now instead of sitting in a warehouse. An idea only matters if it reaches someone.
Want the full 83? Get your own copy. Underline it. Argue with it. Keep the ones that survive.
