The distribution

Why I put 500 books in Little Free Libraries

A Little Free Library is a small box, usually on a post, where anyone can take a book or leave a book. There are tens of thousands of them, and they run on one idea: trust strangers.

Why they are perfect for this

A copy of Take Control left in a Little Free Library sits exactly where readers already go looking. The box does the distribution. The sticker does the tracking. The reader does the rest. No store, no shipping, no middleman between the book and the person it was meant for.

Placed with intent

All 500 copies started in South Florida, placed with intent, not randomly. The boxes with the most foot traffic, near coffee shops, parks, and neighborhoods where people actually read. Each copy is numbered and carries a QR sticker. When a reader finds one and scans it, the copy checks in and its journey goes public on the copies page.

If you steward a Little Free Library

If one of these lands in your box, you are part of the project now. Watch it. If it moves fast, your box is doing its job.

If you find one

It is yours. Read it, check it in, pass it on. That is the whole instruction.
